Brian Hable has been welding and fabricating since he was 14 years old and building street rods and race races for over 32 years. With a Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering and award winning manual welding and fabrication skills, Brian has taken his experience and skills from Drag Racing and 29 years at Ford Motor Company to apply what he has learned and developed into his passion for motorsports.  

Ultimate Team Performance started out as a small shop that specialized in Drag Race chassis using what he has learned from 6 years of Drag Racing in an organization that was aimed at Street-legal Drag Racing Heads-Up completion and traveling circuit. While not having the budget to be highly competitive, it’s there where UTP got its start in chassis and full turnkey race car fabrication. While campaigning his 1960 Ford Falcon he was constantly being asked “ who built the car?” and “where can I go to get work like that done on my car?”.  So Brian quit racing and started building. With 32 years in Fabrication and race car/custom street car construction, UTP has been able to build many successful race cars, from Pro modified Blown Alcohol Drag Cars to D-Sport SCCA chassis for Hurley Motorsports. Restorations and custom street rods are also a big part of the UTP history from 100K plus builds to mild but wild rides .
